The Knee High Foundation was founded in 2017, with the intent and belief that if we reach the youth at an early age with proper guidance and care, they will be better members of the community and society.
I was born and raised in Opelika, AL, so my ties, roots, and love run deep for this community.
I graduated from Opelika High School 1997, and continued my studies and athletics at Mississippi State University(MSU). At MSU I played football and graduated with a BA in Sociology, and Minor in Criminal Justice in 2001.
I joined the US Army in 2002 and served until 2009. I did two combat tours to Iraq, 2004-2005 & 2006-2007, where I was awarded various medals and coins. After the military, I became employed as a civilian contractor, and worked in Afghanistan from 2009-2013.
In 2011, I obtained my MA in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University. I became employed with the Lee County Sheriff Dept. in 2014 where I worked as a correctional officer.
In 2016, I became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
In 2017, I began working endlessly on The Knee High Foundation because I truly believe in being there for our youth, and as a whole, we can make a difference. “It truly takes a village…”
