The Knee High Foundation (KHF) is a non-profit organization/mentorship program geared towards youth ages 5-18. It was founded on the basis of PEACE, HOPE, AND LOVE. Our mission is to mentor, serve, and Uplift our youth with structure and guidance in a nurturing environment. Within this environment the youth will receive firm discipline (non-physical), and constructive criticism, if needed, to equip them with life skills and tools necessary to help them succeed in life.
At the KHF, our emphasis is instilling the right values, morals, ethics, and life skills in our youth at an early age. Every child matters! Everyone can make an impact! It takes a village!
Activities at the KHF will include fishing and camping trips, lessons on how to fish and horseback ride, field trips to museums, etc. Classes will be given on the importance of proper hygiene and appearance, proper table etiquette, posture, and manners. We will have certified professionals and subject matter experts come in to teach as well. This is just the tip of the iceberg...
We also are involved in community service projects with other local organizations, clubs, fraternities and sororities.
Our aim is to service Lee County and surrounding areas.
Whether you help through monetary donations, or spreading our foundation through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
The Knee High Foundation was founded in 2017, with the intent and belief that if we reach the youth at an early age with proper guidance and care, they will be better members of the community and society.
I was born and raised in Opelika, AL, so my ties, roots, and love run deep for this community.
I graduated from Opelika High School 1997, and continued my studies and athletics at Mississippi State University(MSU). At MSU I played football and graduated with a BA in Sociology, and Minor in Criminal Justice in 2001.
I joined the US Army in 2002 and served until 2009. I did two combat tours to Iraq, 2004-2005 & 2006-2007, where I was awarded various medals and coins. After the military, I became employed as a civilian contractor, and worked in Afghanistan from 2009-2013.
In 2011, I obtained my MA in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University. I became employed with the Lee County Sheriff Dept. in 2014 where I worked as a correctional officer.
In 2016, I became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
In 2017, I began working endlessly on The Knee High Foundation because I truly believe in being there for our youth, and as a whole, we can make a difference. “It truly takes a village…”
Your generous/donation gift will help us fund our mission. Together, we can make a difference!
